When you request a free estimate, schedule a service visit, or contact Red Stag Handyman by phone, text, email, or web form, we collect the information you provide: your name, address, phone number, email, and a description of the work needed. For scheduled service visits we may collect photos of the work area that you send us, gate or access codes you provide, and any special instructions for entering the property.
Your information is used solely to deliver the handyman service you requested: scheduling visits, dispatching the right technician, generating estimates and invoices, processing payment, and following up to confirm the work was completed correctly. We do not sell, rent, or trade customer information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We share customer information only with the limited set of service providers required to operate the business: payment processors (Stripe, Square) for credit card transactions, our dispatch and scheduling software, our accounting platform, our insurance carrier for claims documentation, and our email and SMS infrastructure providers. Each of these vendors is bound by data processing agreements that limit their use of customer data to the service they provide.
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what information we hold, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell). To exercise any of these rights, email support@redstagcc.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. We respond to all CCPA requests within 45 days.
The Red Stag Handyman website uses standard analytics tools (Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it. These tools place cookies in your browser. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers or third-party retargeting pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time without affecting your ability to request service or contact us by phone or email.
Customer records (estimates, invoices, photos of completed work) are retained for seven years to satisfy California tax and business-record requirements. Marketing communications opt-out records are retained indefinitely so we can honor your preferences. Payment card data is not stored on our servers — it is processed and tokenized by our payment provider.
